A Small Library of Booksis delivered to each Liberian school by the sale of 13 used college textbooks to raise $250. The books will be presented to each Liberian school in recognition of their US college partner. These books will be used to advance the basic literacy needs of students and individuals within the community
ONE supports the Liberian Books Project!
ONE is an organization with more than 2 million member-advocates for Africa with representatives on more than 2,500 college campuses in the United States.Each year ONE Campus Challenge (OCC) challenges its members to carryout a campus activity in support of African nations.This year, beginning November 16th, 2009, ONE is asking all of its 2,500 plus college campuses to collect books on behalf of the Liberian Books Project.
